The Disc Trommel MAK CD is characterized by a disc mesh where all the components that make the movement and contact with the waste to be sorted are made of hardened anti-wear steel (Hardox) in order to maximize its performance, substantially reducing the respective maintenance costs. The format of the MAK CD equipment discs has been designed in order to guarantee an ideal screening and, at the same time, to minimize the common problems found in the disc trommels, such as the filamentary material that wraps around the discs.
The disc mesh is composed of a variable set of steel shafts, where polygonal discs fit together which, with their rotation, cause a strong vibration in the residues, making them move forward in the mesh, in order to undergo a perfect screening with the spacing between discs. These discs are manufactured with different diameters and widths, in order to be adapted to the material to be treated and to the required processing capacity.
